Last weekend, the Friends and Family of Nick and Jack Savage Golf Outing benefiting the 525 Foundation took place. It was a beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt memories, all in honor of our beloved sons, Nick and Jack. This event has always been more than just a golf outing; it’s a testament to the enduring spirit of community, friendship, and our shared commitment to preventing substance misuse.
A Day of Remembrance and Unity
The golf outing began the same summer that Nick and Jack passed away. It was a way for all their friends and family to come together, support each other, and remember two incredible young men. Seeing so many familiar faces at the golf course, from seasoned golfers to those just picking up a club for the first time, warmed my heart. The afternoon was filled with a sense of purpose and unity as we came together to remember Nick and Jack. Their presence was felt in every conversation, every swing, and every shared
moment of reflection.
The Power of Community Support
I am incredibly grateful to all the friends and family who participated in the event. Your unwavering support is a cornerstone of our efforts at the 525 Foundation. The funds raised through this golf outing are vital for our programs to educate and prevent substance misuse among young people. Every donation, every story shared, and every moment of support helps us move closer to a future where fewer families have to endure the pain of losing a loved one to substance misuse.
Honoring Our Volunteers and Sponsors
A special thank you goes out to our incredible volunteers who tirelessly dedicate their time and energy year after year. Your commitment and passion are truly inspiring, and this event would not be possible without your unwavering support. Your efforts behind the scenes, from organizing logistics to ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day, make a world of difference.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to our many sponsors. Your generosity and belief in our mission help us continue our vital work. Your sponsorship makes this event possible and significantly contributes to our ongoing prevention and education programs. Thank you for standing with us and making a tangible impact in our community.
To everyone who made this event possible—from the volunteers(new ones and old ones!) who meticulously organized every detail to the sponsors who generously supported us to the participants who brought their energy and enthusiasm—our heartfelt thanks. Your dedication to our cause and your willingness to stand with us in memory of Nick and Jack mean the world to our family. Your support energizes our mission and motivates us to continue our work with renewed dedication and determination.

Reflecting on the success of this year’s golf outing, I am filled with hope and gratitude. The strength of our community, united in remembrance and prevention, is a powerful force for GOOD!
